【UPDATE】2015 Seminar on Application of Triassic Guizhou Fauna for World Natural Heritage and Training Course |

Deadline: 1st December 2015 In order to promote the application of Triassic Guizhou Fauna for the World Natural Heritage, to exchange experiences of application, protection, management of geological natural heritage in the Asia-Pacific region, the World Heritage Institute of Training and Research for the Asia and the Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO (Beijing), Guizhou Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and Anshun City Government (Guizhou) together organize this seminar and training course. Relying on the academic and practical experience of world-famous scholars and managers, as well as the outstanding world heritage work experience of Guizhou and teaching resources in related faculties of Peking University i.e. the Department of Geology, College of Urban and Environmental Sciences, School of Archaeology and Museology and College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, the seminar and training course aims at: l Discuss, communicate, and understand the outstanding and universal value of Triassic Guizhou Fauna, profile of fossil heritage and application approach. l Discuss, communicate, and understand geological natural heritage, features of the regional natural heritage, the theory and policy of geological heritage protection, the current situation and development trend in China and abroad. l Discuss, communicate, and understand the theory and policy of application, protection, development and planning of World Natural Heritage, the current situation and development trend in China and abroad.
The Seminar and Training will be held on December 7th-11th, 2015, at Anshun City, Guizhou, China.
