Call for Cases Promoting Tangible-Intangible Synergies at UNESCO Designated Sites in Asia-Pacific
(World Heritage, Biosphere Reserves, and Geoparks)
UNESCO Regional Office for East Asia, in collaboration with multiple category 2 centers under the auspices of UNESCO in the Asia and the Pacific region, invites the relevant stakeholders concerning UNESCO Designated Sites — including World Heritage properties, Biosphere Reserves, and UNESCO Global Geoparks — as well as other designated cultural and natural heritage sites at national and sub-national levels, to submit innovative case studies that demonstrate a holistic approach to heritage management. These practices should integrate the safeguarding of both tangible (cultural and/or natural) and intangible cultural heritage, fostering synergies between preservation and sustainable development. Scan the QR code on the poster to access more information of this Call for Cases.
