Background
As one of the key activities recommended by UNESCO to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the World Heritage Convention, the 2022 "Global Awards for World Heritage Education Innovative Cases" International Sharing Forum was held on the evening of December 13(UTC+8). The Forum was presided over by LI Xin, Deputy Secretary-General of World Heritage Institute of Training and Research for the Asia and the Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO (WHITRAP). Nearly 50 representatives of international institutions, award winners, cooperative partners and expert panel from all over the world attended the Forum online. An audience of 8,008 (6,114 in Chinese Channel and 1,894 in English Channel) also joined the Forum via livestreaming.
Dr. LI Xin introduced the mission and significance of the "Global Awards for World Heritage Education Innovative Cases"(click), which is to jointly build an international ecological network for heritage education innovation and open up the Heritage Universe with scientific and innovative cross-border cooperation.
Representatives from three international organizations announced the winning cases of the 2022 "Global Awards for World Heritage Education Innovative Cases" . Award List for 2022"Global Awards for World Heritage Education Innovative Cases"
1. Star of Outstanding Mr. DU Yue, Senior Advisor of UNESCO Outreach Department Secretary-General of World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations (WFUCA), announced the winning cases of Star of Outstanding(10).
【Overall Evaluation】 Fruitful cross-over model innovation, reproducible model experience, and prominent demonstration value for global innovation.
Notes: Winner’s name not listed in order (the same as below) 【Honors and Awards】: Certificates issued by professional international organization (including digital certificates), key global promotion (via promotional videos, promotional brochure and official websites), key international resource docking, key opportunities of international sharing and cooperation, etc.
Note: The NFT digital certificate must meet certain technical requirements (the same as below).
2. Star of Discovery Ms. LOU Ya, Partnership Officer of the UN Resident Coordinator's Office in China, announced the winning cases of Star of Discovery (10).
【Overall Evaluation】 Commitment to exploring in-depth value and model innovation, collaborative and context-driven innovation between heritage sites and heritage education models, and demonstration value for global innovation.
【Honors and Awards】: Certificates issued by professional international organization (including digital certificates), global promotion (via promotional brochure and official websites), international resource docking, opportunities for international sharing and cooperation, etc.
3. Star of Future Mr. ZHOU Jian, Secretary-General of WHITRAP, announced the winning cases of Star of Future(10).
【Overall Evaluation】 Pioneering young people-owned field practice, boding well for infinite innovation in heritage education model and representing the future direction.
【Honors and Awards】: Certificates issued by professional international organization (including digital certificates), global promotion (via promotional brochure and official websites), international resource docking, opportunities for international sharing and cooperation, etc.
Note: All winning cases will automatically enter into related cooperation networks, and will be given priority to participate in relevant international cooperation and innovative pilot projects (WHITRA Preserves the right of final interpretation).

International Sharing of Winning Cases
As a key activity recommended by UNESCO to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the World Heritage Convention, the Award List and relevant events will be published on UNESCO's websites worldwide.
After the announcement of the awards, 20winning cases shared their global experience based on their own innovative mode exploration, and 10 international experts from various fields made splendid comments.
