In August 2022, Hang Kan, professor of the School of Archaeology and Museology at Peking University and the president of Yungang Research Institute, launched the 2022 exhibition planning workshop sponsored by Shanxi Archaeological Research Institute (Shanxi Archaeological Museum) and the Public Archaeology and Art Center of Peking University in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. The workshop issued recruitment notices on June 21, 2022, and officially started on July 18. The workshop ended on August 22. Wang Siyu, Assistant Professor of the School of Archaeology and Museology at Peking University, and research fellow of WHITRAP Beijing, and Lina Park, Project Specialist of WHITRAP Beijing, were invited to serve as instructors of this workshop.
