On May 30th, 2007, Mr. Andres Pena (Deputy Consul General of Consulate General of Mexico), and Ms. Patricia Qin (Assistant to Consul General of Consulate General of Mexico) paid a visit to our institute for discussion the Mexican Photography Traveling Exhibition collaborating with CAUP, College of Architecture and Urban Planning, TongJi University and World Heritage Institute of Training and Research-Asia and Pacific (WHITR-AP, Shanghai). Prof. Li Zhengyu, Vice Dean of CAUP; Mr. Guo Qiang, Deputy Director of International Exchange & Cooperation Office of Tongji University; Mrs. Kong Ping, Program director of WHITR-AP(Shanghai) received them warmly. Prof. Li Zhenyu and Mrs. Kong Ping gave a presentation respectively on the development and international cooperation of CAUP and WHITR-AP (shanghai). Mr. Andres Pena highly appreciated for the great supports and expressed strong intension for future cooperation in various areas. The exhibition of 'Heritage of Humanity in Mexico' will display 82 photos, authentically recorded the beauty of Mexican cultural and natural heritage sites. Each piece of photo is accompanied with specific introduction and location. Also the exhibition will include the distribution and other illustrations of cultural heritage sites in Mexico. For the first leg of the exhibition in the Asia and Pacific region, the organizers bring us a sense of wonder to allow visitors to appreciate the excellent photographic work on Mexican heritage sites in a short distance.
