| The 10th Chinese Famous Towns (Zhouzhuang) Forum was Successfully Held in Zhouzhuang Town |

On the November 5th, 2017, the 10th Chinese Famous Towns (Zhouzhuang) Forum was held in Zhouzhuang Town, a historic water town. Nearly a hundred experts, scholars and government officials from across the country attended the forum. The Chinese Famous Towns (Zhouzhuang) Forum has been held for ten consecutive years and has become an important exchange platform for the protection and development of towns and cities in China. LI Xin, the deputy secretary general of WHITRAP, presided over the sub-forum in the afternoon. Six guests conducted a comprehensive and in-depth exchange of ideas on the protection practice and innovation path of towns with the current special small towns and the beautiful rural construction. During the forum, ‘China Tourism Scenic Development Report (2017)’ was released, and ‘RUAN Yisan Urban Heritage Foundation Zhouzhuang Workstation’ was unveiled. ![]() ![]() |
