HERITAGE ASIA–PACIFIC (HeritAP) is a network of heritage practitioners created by WHITRAP Shanghai to foster the sharing of knowledge and experiences among individuals and institutions engaged in heritage activities in the Asia–Pacific Region. HeritAP aims to encourage recognition and the exchange of practices about heritage, conservation and management in the Asia-Pacific region. It acts as a platform and fosters collaboration between individuals, institutions and countries. The network is run through a dedicated web page and regular activities for professional. Five Standing Committee Members are committed to facilitated the activities of HeritAP. The inaugural event of HeritAP takes place in December 7-10, 2019 in Sri Lanka. Designed as a symposium, this is the first opportunity to promote the network and to celebrate the establishment of the Membership Directory of the network.
