The 35th Anniversary of the UNESCO Silk Roads Programme is celebrating today with a daylong series of events at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on 6 April 2023, from 9:30 am to 8 pm (Paris time). The events are co-organized by UNESCO and the Permanent Delegations to UNESCO of Azerbaijan, the People’s Republic of China, Republic of Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Sultanate of Oman.
‘International Forum on Silk Roads, Diversity, Dialogue, and Peace’ - 9:30 to 12:45
Official presentation of the ‘Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads’ photo contest and Silk Roads artifacts exhibitions- 12:45 to 13:00 Film screening session - 14:30 to 15:30 Scientific Symposium on the ‘Silk Roads Youth Research Grant’ - 15:30 to 18:00
Concert - 18:30 to 20:00 - The day’s events will conclude with a concert featuring performances from artists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and China.
