Overview From 2nd Nov to 3rd Nov, themed events of 2023 World Heritage Creative X Innovator Forum & 3rd Anniversary of Global Awards for World Heritage Education Innovative Cases were organized in Guangzhou. The Conference was presided by Dr. Li Xin from WHITRAP, inviting Mu Jingchuan, Project Officer of UNOSSC Beijing; Feng Huiling, Chair Professor of Information Science, former executive vice-president of Renmin University of China; Sun Yue, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources; Wang Dan, director of marketing department of Tencent, as guest speakers. More than 200 former laureates and partnership parties participated.
The Forum was committed to becoming the first incubator for scientific innovation in heritage sites. As an extension and upgrade of the collaborative eco-network of the "Global Awards for World Heritage Education Innovative Cases", the forum convened the most cutting-edge and representative world heritage creators & innovators and their latest practice and exploration. Meanwhile, the forum has made systematic innovations in its mode, innovatively adopting the multi-dimensional interactive structure of "Brainstorming + Immersion Art + Heritage Scenarios", which organically integrated the sharing of innovative cases, the award ceremony, interactive performances and the heritage scene, providing the best creative atmosphere for the cross-boundary exchanges of all parties, and creating the one-stop professional exchange platform, the most in-depth and wide-ranging, for cross-boundary mode innovation of domestic heritage sites.
The forum launched the Global Case Awards Incubation Cooperation Project, aiming to carry out a number of globally leading and exemplary cross-border cooperation projects to promote the development of science and innovation at heritage sites, including the first phase of the China-Mexico Heritage Cities South-South Cooperation Project, and the Domestic Heritage Volunteer Cooperation Network, among others. After the completion of the thematic sub-forums, and with the World Heritage Creative Concerto performed by Music Museum of Xinghai Conservatory of Music, Nanyin, and Yungang Dance, Dr Li Xin and all the participants jointly initiated the establishment of the "World Heritage Creative & Innovator Alliance", and the whole forum reached a climax and came to a successful end.
The Spatial Structure of the Forum
With the goal of building China's first multi-scene, immersive and all-interactive forum on the theme of scientific innovation of heritage, the forum highlighted the in-depth spatial and temporal fusion and interaction between heritage scenes and innovators, and adopted the holistic structure of "introduction, elucidation, transition, and convergence", which gradually unfolded the professional sections in the heritage scenes, and provided not only an extremely academic and professional theme forum, but also an optimal creative atmosphere for in-depth communication among the participants. This not only brought all participants a professional theme forum with rich academic content, but also provided the best creative atmosphere for in-depth communication among each other.
This article focuses on the establishment of the alliance, the immersive case show and other structural innovations, the keynote and the reports of the sub-forums will be published in a separate article, please look forward to it.

Prospects: Enable Dreams to Emulate the Reality
For the development of the Awards, this forum is of great significance, which extends and amplifies the network platform model of mutual empowerment of the Awards, where mutual enthusiasm is constantly ignited, new creative inspirations are constantly emerging. It is the dedication of all of us that makes it a stage where creativity and excitement gush as a result of co-construction and sharing.
The establishment of the Alliance represents the completion of all the pieces of the puzzle of the first phase of the Awards and the full validation of its innovative network development model. With the deepening of cooperation with the WHITRAP, UNOSSC and other international organizations, the Awards will be systematically upgraded again in 2024, and a brand-new picture is unfolding.
In the future, we will always uphold the mission of promoting the transformation of heritage sites into science and innovation, and
We will continue to move forward on the path of cross-border innovation.
Our goal remains unchanged:
To transform the development model of science and innovation at heritage sites from a blueprint to a reality.
We will continue to transform heritage sites from a blueprint to a reality with our joint actions.
The review of the last encourages us to chase and realize the dreams.
