Call for Cases Promoting Tangible-Intangible Synergies at UNESCO Designated Sites in Asia-Pacific
(World Heritage, Biosphere Reserves, and Geoparks)
Specifically, evidence is sought from the good practices that might elaborate responses to one or more of the following questions: 1、To what extent the site conservation and management takes into account the wealth of intangible cultural heritage and contributes to its safeguarding? 2、What are the issues and challenges of conservation and management faced by the tangible and intangible heritage elements? 3、How can the inclusion of intangible cultural heritage aspects contribute to sustainable and people-centered heritage management? In other words, in what ways can such a holistic approach help bring the local communities into the conservation and management of heritage sites? 4、How can a holistic approach of tangible-intangible synergies contribute to the promotion and education of both tangible and intangible cultural heritage?
