MOU Renewal between ICCROM and WHITRAP (Shanghai) |

On April 13th, 2012, Prof. Zhou Jian and Dr. Kong Ping paid a visit to ICCROM in Rome, in order to renew the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between ICCROM and WHITRAP (Shanghai). Dr. Stefano De Caro (Director-General of ICCROM) held the meeting in his office with the presence of Mr. Joseph King and Dr. Gamini Wijesuriya from the Site Unit. Both parties expressed their appreciation for the previous cooperation and determined to continuously strengthen networks and capacity building in the region through joint efforts. The MOU is signed by Dr. Stefano De Caro and Prof. Zhou Jian for the renewal of four years. The coming “Heritage impact assessment” course will be the first joint training activity in the region after the new MOU. Following the meeting, Prof. Zhou Jian and Dr. Kong Ping consulted with Mr. Joseph King and Dr. Gamini Wijesuriya for the development of sub-regional capacity building strategies and implementation plans. |
