2013 Annual Meeting of Acdemic Committee of Planning History and Theory, UPSC and The 5th Symposium of Urban Planning History and Theory will be hold in Pingyao, Shanxi Province at May 27-28, 2013.
The meeting and symposium are co-organised by Urban Planning Society of China(UPSC) and School of Architecture, Southeast University, and supported by Urban Planning Society of Shanxi Province, Urban Planning and Research Institute of Shanxi Province, and Urban Planning Bureau of Pingyao.

The meeting and symposium are focused on issues as following:
1, Urban planning history and theory of China;
2, Regionalization and cultural development in New Urbanization;
3, The transition of historic and resource-based cities;
4, Traditional walled-village in history;
5, Research methodology on urban planning history and theory.
