The “4th 4C5M Studio Conference: City Development, Preservation, and Hospitality”, which was organized by 4C5M Studio together with WHITRAP and hosted by Tongli Township Government, was held in Tongli from June 13th to 15th, 2013. About 50 experts, scholars and representatives from institutes of the US, Britain, Japan, Singapore and other European and Asian countries attended the meeting and conducted in-depth discussions on and experience sharing of cases they brought in around the theme. On June 14th, the participants paid a field visit scheduled by Tongli Government to World Heritage Site “Tuisi Garden” and the site of ancient Water Management Bureau, to enable a deepening understanding of the practice in case of Tongli.
