| 2015 City and Society International Forum Successfully Held in Tongji |

2015 City and Society International Forum was successfully held in Tongji University on 10-11 April 2015. It was hosted by Tongji University and Urban Planning Society of China; meanwhile it was organized by WHITRAP Shanghai, Shanghai Tongji Urban Planning and Design Institute (TJUPDI), and City and Society Research Center (CSRC). This forum gathered over 80 specialists and scholars, from Urban Planning and Sociology areas in USA, Europe, Asia and other regions, who work in research institutions for development of city and society. In the conference, there were 2 round-table discussions and 5 sub-forums, and the topics of them contained: Discussion on Interdisciplinary Urban Research, Evaluation on the Sustainable Development of Heritage Communities, Global City and Urban Community, Community Governance and Community Engagement, Community Capital and Identity, Community Planning and Social Space, and Community Heritage and Collective Memories.
