1. Local transportation For your arrival in Shanghai:
2. Accommodation There are two hotels near the university.
3. VISA/Country entry documents Conference participants need to make their own arrangements for obtaining necessary entry documents (i.e. visa) for their travel to Shanghai, China. It is the participants’ responsibility to find out whether an entry visa is needed for travel to Shanghai, China. If you require a VISA Invitation Letter, please email the Conference Secretariat (conf_uhchei@whitr-ap.org) and provide your personal details along with any specific requirements from your local consulate for your visa application. * VISA Invitation Letters will only be issued once registration is completed and paid. Any cancellations due to Visa refusal will be refunded.
4. Electricity ![]() Electric power in China is 220V, 50HZ. The plug types used are indicated in the picture on the right. Please bring any electric adaptors that you may need for your laptop, cell phone, and any other electrical devices, since the hotel will not be able to provide electric adaptors to all guests.
5. Currency The official and legal currency in circulation in China is the Chinese Yuan, also known as Renminbi (RMB). Foreign currencies are generally not accepted.
6. Working language The working language of this conference is English.
