 Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government On August 21st, 2007, H.E. Yang Xiong, executive vice-mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government, investigated the energy-saving implementations of Wenyuan Building, as a renovate demonstration of historic building. The third floor is currently accommodating the WHITR-AP (Shanghai). In the process of construction, conservation of historic features and adoption of new energy saving technologies and measures are very well combined. H.E. Yang Xiong gave an high appraise that Wen Yuan Building set a good example for energy saving renovation of Shanghai historic buildings. |
